i.e You eat a very healthy salad just not long ago, and you go to sleep right after you are done eating.

I heard your body converts everything to fat when you are sleeping so you wont receive any nutrient/minerals......is this true?

Not always. The system just slows down.

Well, it takes energy to sleep, so your food does get digested normally, which is why you go to the bathroom in the morning

I think it rots. I always get indigestion, expecially if it's a lot. It might digest a little.
