If he was a god, how did the Jews kill him?

Anyways. It was the Romans and not the Jews in the first place.

It wasn't just the Jews it was the Romans too. And just because some Jews killed Him doesn't mean all Jews did. He had many followers.
When God establishes a blessing or a curse He does not deviate from it. And during Moses's leadership God promised a blessing for His chosen people, no matter what. God will not undo a blessing. Once it has established He never takes it away. So regarless of what some of the Jews did, God still kept His promise to the Jews.

Christian don't believe that the Jew are the chosen people. It's the other way around--the JEWS believe THEY are the chosen people and refuse to believe that Jesus is the messiah. There has been a big riff between the Jews and Christians for...well since Jesus died on the cross.

Because God said it in the Scriptures.

Deu 7:6 For you are a holy people to Jehovah your God. Jehovah your God has chosen you to be His own treasure out of all the people on the face of the earth.

Psa 105:6 O seed of His servant Abraham; O sons of Jacob, His elect.

It was the Jewish leadership who wanted Him killed for blasphemy. His original twelve apostles were Jews, and accepted Him, because they were chosen out for salvation.

Joh 1:11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.
Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave authority to become children of God, to the ones believing into His name,
Joh 1:13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but were born of God.

God can't be killed, are ya nuts?

And furthermore, God abandoned Jesus at the moment of his death, which means that he was nothing more than human when he died.

So what we are left with then is nothing more than a human virgin blood sacrifice for sin, like the old ancient baal worshippers, or even the Mayans and Aztecs.

Human sacrifice has never been the role of the Messiah. This is an abomination to God.

Kinda blows the whole "killed God" thing out of the water, doesn't it.

Jews were the original chosen people. The Bible clearly says that now only those who are IN CHRIST are the chosen people. Jew or Gentile.

i think in the religious Israel buddy, according to Scripture:-) Peter describes those “which in time previous weren't a human beings, yet are actually the human beings of God” in those words: “yet ye are a chosen technology, a royal priesthood, an holy united states of america, a unusual human beings; that ye would desire to shew forth the praises of him who hath referred to as you out of darkness into his astounding easy” (a million Peter 2:9, 10). right it is the recent united states of america which replaces the country of Israel. The Gentiles who will get carry of the real Messiah now enter into the recent Covenant, ratified by using the blood of the go, and grow to be the real religious Israel of God. They who weren't God’s human beings grow to be His “holy united states of america.” Will they get carry of the very comparable supplies you that have been given to Abraham’s descendants? certainly, the Bible says that they are counted by using fact the extremely seed of Abraham. “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs in accordance to the promise” (Galatians 3:29). Paul makes it even clearer in Romans 9:8. “They that are the toddlers of the flesh, those are actually not the toddlers of God: however the toddlers of the promise are counted for the seed.” lower back, Paul wrote, “For he's not a Jew, this is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, this is outward in the flesh: yet he's a Jew, this is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the coronary heart” (Romans 2:28, 29). word that real Israel would be characterised by using circumcision of the coronary heart and not of the flesh. what's coronary heart circumcision? “Ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the physique of the sins of the flesh by using the circumcision of Christ” (Colossians 2:11). Don’t pass over the cost of that text cloth. merely by using fact the previous Covenant became into represented by using the slicing off of the particular flesh, so the recent Covenant could be exemplified by using the slicing off of the fleshly nature of sin. In different words, all who settle for Christ and are born lower back are the extremely circumcised and the only real Jews. And in accordance to Paul in addition they are going to inherit the ensures made to Abraham.

Have you ever read the Bible? The Jews were Gods choosen people, and they feel short of Gods salvation, so to fullfil the scriptures and to show Gods love and mercy he had his only son die for our sins, that through him we could be saved. theres so much more on this subject, carefully read the Bible with an open mind, and you may see what you never thought you'd see....

Jesus was a Jew too or did you forget that? God chose the Jews a long time ago and it has not changed.
