I have a boyfriend and he has a really great personality but he's super ugly. I seriously can't be around him without thinking how ugly he is and being disgusted. I know you're wondering why I'm dating him in the first place but that's a really long story. He's such a sweet guy but everytime he tries to talk to me or something im like ew...i just wanna put a bag over his head sometimes. I could never imagine kissing him or even "doing" him. Ugh, i don't know what to do and I really don't want to break up him. (Another long story) Can you help me get over this?

No, you obviously don't like him, why are you still dating. You have to be physically attracted to someone as well as mentally, it does not make you shallow it makes you human. You are just a little more blunt than most people. No shame there though. I prefer raw honesty, keep him as a friend and find someone who you enjoy in all respects.

We'll if he's really as great as you say he is, try being honest (but not mean) and say something like "I think you're a fantastic guy, and I love having you in my life, but I'm having a really tough time eroticizing you. I've been trying to get over my hang-ups about your looks, but nothing I've tried is working". If he still wants you in his life after this statement (a stretch, I'll admit), this conversation can be a jumping off point to negotiate an open-relationship, as long as he's willing and doesn't get jealous. Cut your losses and say goodbye. You can't stand to look at him, you are embarrassed when you are with him, you can't kiss or be intimate. All the things that make a relationship work are lacking. Do him a favor and say good bye. Maybe someone else will like him for what and who he is. The longer you stay in the relationship the more he is going to get hurt.

There had to be some sort of attraction to this guy when you started dating him, but at the same time you have to do what is right for you. You need to be happy first or the relationship will go to hell. As a guy one simple rule applies " if moma's not happy then daddies not happy." Hope that helps.

Beauty is only skin deep. you loose years on your body as you age. I also thought this man was ugly and yuck on sex too.
but I got to know him and he is really sweet fun to be with
good sense of humor. I married him we have been married
7 years.
