I need the numbers for some forms I am filling out, and I can't wait for the new card to arrive.

I cant imagine what forms would ask for that, but if you really do need it, just go to your local voting office. Personally, i didnt even know there was a # associated with my registration, i just knew that i registered. Dumb me i guess. Never paid attention to it.

I agree with the other guy.. (assuming you are in the US).. I simply registered some place decades ago.. no card no receipt.. just started voting..

BUT if you need to prove that you are registered to vote in any particular place .. just go to the Registrar of Voters (thats what they call it in California) and get a certification. You will usually find that office at the County courthouse, but larger Cities may have the offices spread around town so simply call first and get a location.

vote...
vote early
vote often.. (like they do in Florida)
