and, has the word lost it's true meaning? or has it just been diluted?
All of the hardwork has been done by those that knew the true definition of persecution. Electronic words by an anonymous person could hardly injure a person.

these people who have a persecution complex, probably have had such easy lives that they wouldnt know hardship in any way shape or form

Trust me! Try being a Mormon for five minutes! THEY WILL BURY YOU ,BEFORE YOU TURN AROUND TWICE!
And all the goodie christians will not stop until they strip you clean,like a frickin' pyranha!They leave you with nothing! Not even faith in Christ!
The middle name of the LDS Church is 'persecution"!
You want persecution, look up the history of that church! All done by good christians, oxymoron, that one, good christians!

It depends on how you define persecution, is it physcical , or just words Physical is getting worse around the world , words will be carried on till whenever.. But what ever it is going to get worse for any religion with time ..

yes i feel horrible for persecuting the majority, so much so that i will forgive them and turn the other cheek(oh wait wasn't that their thing?). anyways yes its a trend, and frankly its sad when abuse becomes "trendy" so much so that im afraid this will turn into a hollywood obsession. yes there will soon be lawsuits against atheists for christian persecution.

Honestly, I don't get it either. I think all sides do a fair bit of poking. I also get tired of questions that say "All the _______ on this board are so rude to __________ who are just trying to be nice and don't ever hurt anyone or ever say anything mean or snide or rude or reactionary." blah blah blah. I think there needs to be a disclaimer somewhere on this board that reads simply "Get over it".
