They ARE un-christlike because they judge, condemn, insult, answers are full of hate, and they place themselves on pedistals.

sallyjane3400: I was a Reverand with the Church of God for years, and taught a class on Revelation for the local Baptist church for almost a decade. THATS HOW I KNOW.

Gives Enigma a Standin' Ovation!!
It has been my experience that most of the Christians are among the most un christ-like folks. Jesus was all about peace and harmony and turning the other cheek and today's Christians well let's just say I used to be one that's how I know how most are. I dwelt among them you might say

*Gasp* How dare you point out the flaws in others. You're supposed to sit there and let them do that to you! =)
Most do believe they are living by the Bible, according to their own interpretation (or that of their parents, Pastor, etc). They will claim it's the Holy Spirit, but I doubt a single Spirit with a Single Plan would give so many different ideas about what it wants or what it's doing. A rise in emotion is what they claim is the Holy Spirit... but even someone like me can bring that about in another person with the right words - all I have to do is say what they want to hear and off we go.
No, this question doesn't need details. All one has to do is look through the different questions and answers posed by "Christians" to get an idea of what you are talking about.

I think I know what you mean. I've seen a number of people using the Bible as a crutch to support their ingrained prejudices, just as the bloviators of the pseudo-Christian right do.
I am reminded of the late John Denver and the late George Burns in Oh God, where Denver's character confronts one of these bloviators and vipers who bore only a coincidental resemblance to the likes of Marion "Pat" Robertson.

Yeah, buddy, I want DETAILS! Lotsa details! Doya MIND?
What kinda nutty question IS that ANYHOW? Sounds like a RANT to me! YEAH! A rant! You think you got all the answers, uh?
Live by the Bible? Guess you're gonna DIE by the Bible, right? GEESH... someone outta report you! Just who do you think you are anyway, the R&S Nazi?
I'll betcha don't even KNOW WHO Christ IS, right? Then howdya know how to be "un-christ-like"? UH? UH? UH?
Now that I'm finished answering like you expect, let me answer like it should be. There are some subject which stir peoples' passions, and one of them is religion and faith. When others challenge it, or bad-mouth it, insult it, etc., people take umbrage to it. Christians are just as much human beings as non-Christians., and their ire can be riled just as much. But since we call ourselves Christians, our "misbehavior" is pointed at and mocked while non-Christians are "allowed" to rant, insult, be rude, curse, etc. Why? Because Christians are held to a higher standard, both by themselves and by others. At times, it's darned hard to live up to those standards, but we'd rather aim high and miss sometimes than aim low and achieve.
Christians are fond of saying that we are not perfect, we are not sin-less, but we are "forgiven." So, when we let our passions "slip," I would hope that others would extend their forgiveness, or at least understanding that we're HUMANS, too. And, wouldn't it really be a "stick in the craw" if you non-Christians forgive the Christians, and not the other way around? Do you kinda like that idea?
Well.. DOYA??? DOYA??? Uh?? UH??? What's the MATTER with you? Are you that STUPID that you can't give us a BREAK now and then? UH? UH???
OOOpps... sorry.. my passions are showing again!
Have a blessed day!

If they are doing all the things you say then they are NOT real Christians. They have their reward already.
Jesus warned us about wolves in sheeps clothing, and there are alot of them around.
You can tell a tree by its fruit.

Well I'm just guessing but maybe because they're human and they get tired of all the bashing and disrepect of everyone not just Christians. If you're anything but a Christian, then how would you know what Is considered Christ-Like Behavior anyway ?

The answers might be very un-christ-like, however, they are often very bible-like.

Hypocrisy runs ramped in religion today, most do not respect the teachings of Christ because they do not see the wisdom that he had.
