Scientology is just another cult. It literally means the study of the truth. But the Bible says that Jesus Christ is the only Truth, Life and the Way.
Scientology falsely claims that man has to work out his own salvation just as Hinduism states. This is again false for in Ephesians 2:8 it reads " For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is a gift of God-not of works, lest any man should boast"

yeah watch the movie 'mission to mars'
basically they believe that aliens had a war and escaped on a metor and their DNA came to earth and mixed with the elements in water to create the first life on earth which was a single celled organisms and thus from that their DNA caused evolution to occur causing all life until eventually their DNA became almost like them causing Humans to evolve and exist.
They thus believe in other life in space and that life having been to earth in some form and also that most disease or distress is mental as in using altered states of consciousness such as hypnosis and affirmations they can sort us all out and make us heal etc.
i could be totally wrong about all this but ofcos this is what i know of them so far. the faith and yes it is a religion since why cant it be if sikhism is for example? so yeah this faith came from some guy called hubbard i think who wrote and told sci-fi stories so he basically was scientifically minded and thus believed in evolution (which even I know isnt true) and thus amalagamated all this into this faith.
Respecting all faiths is a must so i apologise now if anything I have said is wrong or defamatory...i also hope i can be corrected and educated if im wrong.

I hung around them for a couple of years then quit. Took a couple of courses. No big deal. The beliefs thing didnt really come up. When they did church meetings it was in a different building. It was non-denominational (anyone from any religion could attend) and did alot of "for the people suffering in

Scientology is a cult started by Sci-Fi writer L. Ron Hubbard, who at one time was a follower of Aleister Crowley. They use a system called "auditing" on their members, which is really just hypnosis.

scientology is about brining the $$ in. I went to one of their seminars...and 2 of them were on me like carsalesmen to buy their crap. They have lots and lots of over the top technology all over the place....and they also use hypnosis and not only deny its hypnosis..but damn hypnosis
theyre worse than xianity
