Anyone else notice how many questions in R&S aren't questions at all, but people just ranting and expressing their own thoughts and opinions (like this one, lol)

If you go back and check best answer, if the asker chooses the best answer, they usually just pick whatever regurgitates their opinion the most. These questions would be better of to ask "Who can validate my thoughts the best?" It's just the format people seem to expect now.

I sometimes think if someone has a serious religious question or is seeking to gain knowledge, they might be better off posting in the cats or ethnic cuisine section.

I'm right..........AREN"T I?

If Christian questioners really wanted answers, they'd ask their questions in the biology or astronomy sections

Sadly ....YES...You are right we as humans will stop at nothing to reach the realm of self gratification and validation...And we are always the best drivers of our own band-wagons per-say...Most peoples religious beliefs never go past their pastors ability to make a good point on Sunday morning...But God is so much more multi-fascitied than we tend to give him the credit for...But those types of people lack the ability to form what is called a personal relationship////Some people don't even know the God that they so religiously go to church each Sunday to hear about...That's why I don't believe in Religion...Im proud to say that I am a christian But I also know that my relationship with Christ is based on GROWTH...and my ability...Listen Learn from and Love ALL people not just the ones who ritualistically agree with my points of view...Ya- Know...Great question starbrite..

Yes its true, people do just choose an answer that validates there opinion. And ask questions that aren't questions... But I am driven by two factors with my answer,
Firstly, I want the best answer
Secondly, I've seen this said many many many times

Arrrr screw it *drink*

I think it is even more prevalent that the best answer is picked by virtue of being first on the list. I don't think most of the answers are read.

I'm sorry, we don't validate parking, or answers, in this office. Try one floor down.
