Just curious if there are any reasons why I shouldn't vote for the guy. I'm leaning, but I haven't decided completely. Just wondering if anyone knows anything I don't. :)

Wow. So . . . half of you who think I shouldn't vote for him are using these reasons:
1) He won't win
2) He's crazy
Nice. That's very mature, logical, and convincing.
I don't vote or support for people just because they're going to win. That would make me a New York Yankees fan. And I'd sell my soul before that happens. I'm a Cubs fan. I'm used to losing.
Real reasons, folks. Things like the person who commented on Paul's stance on the CIA. While I was aware of that, I'm not entirely sure if it is a bad idea. But keep trying!

You have the right to vote for whoever you believe will do the best as president. Don't let others take that away from you, and make you feel as if your making a stupid choice. That choice is up to you.

HE'S A JOKE! He wants to destroy most of our government immediately which would be unwise.
Since he has about 1% of the GOP vote, do you think people disaprove of him? Do you think he will never be president?

He's all about keeping to are self and taking care of our selves instead of relying on other countries or butting are heads in other business. I like the guy, and i wish he would win. Plus he wants to secure the borders and thats awsome.

He has 1% of the vote, based on the Rasmussen Report poll. He is looked at as a kook by non-Paul supporters. He wants to eliminate most of the federal government.
When he was pushed by Mike Huckabee at the last MAJOR debate, he had a very non-presidential melt down. If he was pushed by another country, how would he react? We don't really know, except for this "performance."
Basically I don't trust the dude!

If you:
a) don't understand what form of government our constitution requires (A republican form of government); and
b) don't understand the constitution, your G-d given rights and limitations on government; and
c) don't know the voting record of ALL the candidates; and
d) don't know the candidates campaign, their promises and what the prior votes mean, ie consistent or not...
Then... you shouldn't vote at all. BUT if you do know all those things, then you'll know that Dr. Paul is the ONLY candidate to vote for.
There has not been a more consistent, more principled, more sincere, morally outstanding and more constitutionally conscious candidate in nearly 50 years or so.
This is YOUR CHANCE OF A LIFETIME to return our country to the rule of law.

There really isn't a good reason to vote against Ron Paul. All the "criticisms" people level at him are patently absurd (such as bringing up some racist comments that his warmongering former aid Eric Dondero snuck into his newsletter). There's also direct criticism of his policy beliefs, most of which makes no sense at all.
He's not a flip-flopper, a socialist, a tax increaser, or a warmonger. Therefore, he's almost certainly the best choice.

For me, it boils down to whether I agree with enough of his political views or not. He has been a very consistent libertarian/conservative during all his years in Congress. I know of no scandals or flip-flopping on any issues. I frankly admire the man, and will be watching him If it was just a matter of his integrity & character, I would vote for him.

I think you people, Paul's volunteer army, will do anything to get his name on anything...even a subtle negative question! Have you thought about contacting some of the "taggers" in LA to spread the word about him? He's raised his campaign request from a half-million bucks to a million bucks by October. He wants you to work harder! I plan to watch him debate tonight...his audacity amazes me. What a whacko!
