WHEN I USED TO UPLOAD PHOTOS TO MY COMPUTER FROM MY DIGITAL CAMERA ANY VIDEOS/MPEGS I CARRIED OVER TO A PHOTO FOLDER ON MY PC WOULD SHOW THE START OF THAT MPEG AS A THUMBNAIL.
NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN THESE VIDEOS DONT SHOW THE START OF THE VIDEO AS A THUMBNAIL IT JUST SHOWS THE STANDARD WINDOWS MPEG SYMBOL WHICH IS SO ANNOYING.
IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY AND CAN HELP ME RETURN IT TO ITS ORIGINAL STATE I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL.

i use windows media player to view them and they used to display the start of that particular video as the thumbnail. so in otherwords you could see the video start before actually clicking on it to start the movie!

You'll get a better response if you post with the Caps Lock off.
What programme(s) are we talking about here? Impossible to say without knowing what software you are using to view the stuff.

right click inside the folder then choose thumbnail view
if still dont see any thing , u just need a codec

right click the file and click refresh thumbnail
