which r boys and which r girls? i thought poe and lala were girls and tinky winky and tipsy were boys but im not sure.

I hate I know this but I think you're right Poe and Lala are girls Tinky Winky and Dipsy are boys. I took notice of their voices, and that's how it sounds to me, after hours..and hours..and hours of watching them. I hope your kid outgrows them soon mine watched until he was 5. It felt like forever.

well.... tinky winky's voice is a boys, but if you'll notice, he/she carries a purse an awful lot- not that there's anything wrong with that! so, after watching for years with 3 grandkids and 2 kids I nanny for, I'm still not sure!

I dont know but I remember there was huge controversy that the purple one was gay (think Jerry Falwell) ...I know pretty stupid huh? Anyways, I could not stand teletubbies so I never let my kids "notice" it on the TV.
