How do I hint to this boy to ask me to homecoming?
Homecomings really soon, I want this boy to ask me.
We're becoming friends, I thought he was going to ask me today.
A bunch of us were talking in class while we were waiting for the bell to ring, and he turns to me and says 'do you have a date to homecoming?' and I, not really thinking, said "nah. I'm just going in a group of friends' and he's like 'yeah, i don't have a date either, and am also going in a group of friends' and then we just both said something stupid (i don't remember what) and then he suddenly turns to the rest of the group and is like 'what about you guys? do you guys have dates?' and I was just thinking 'damn.'
So I cant bring up that subject again,
but what are some ways to hint to him that he can ask me and i would say yes???

We're only 14, and I am NOT going to ask him, dress slutty, or anything along those lines.
Also, if you're going to say I'm too young for dating or dances or whatever, don't even bother answering the question.
Thanks!

What about asking a mutual friend is he has a date to homecoming? If he doesn't, than try and talk to him. Ask him if he's thinking about asking anyone to homecoming. If he isn't, than casually mention that you think it would be cool if your two groups could hang out at homecoming. Think of casual things to say, that will also open the conversation up to him asking you.

It would appear that you might have to go to homecoming alone or in a group since you are putting a lot of conditions on what you are or are not going to do. Homecoming is a very special occasion and you are allowing your pride to get in the way. However, if you are interested in some ideas and willing to consider all ,my suggestion is as follows:1)bring up the subject of homecoming again and then ask him if he has found a date yet2)if he has, then wish him a good time. But if as I suspect he hasn't, then let him know that you don't have one as well and why don't you both go together. This is 2007 and gals can ask guys out these days.So instead of hinting, go the direct route and ask. You will be happy you did.

hey...thanx for answering my question(i added more details so can u editur answer?)

yeah so this is what you need to do. U CAN BRING UP THE TOPIC..just be like"did u decide to go to the dance with anyone ?"or "did u change your mind" if he says no just say"o well i changed my mind. i think i want to go wuith someone.itd be fun, but noone seems to be going except with a group of friends"if THAT doesnt work then tell one of your mutual friends to hint to him for u..that outta do the trick!

Next time if like the convo about homecoming comes up be like yeah, so are you thinking about asking a girl or something, and if he says yes. then be like who are you thinking. if he tells you then its obv. not you, if hes like idk i can't then its you and you have to wait.
