my mom is starting to take drugs cause she is depressed due to my dad abusing all of us.i wanna get her to stop.when i saw drugs i am not talking about pot i am talking about taking a bunch of uneeded meds at once.i wanna runaway cause my dad is always yelling and abusing leaving us all with bruises.how can i stop my mom from doing this?i can actually related to the song runaway love the part about nickole.

Unfortunately, your mom has to get enough strength to NOT STAY THERE AND TAKE THE ABUSE and she MUST get you and herself out of that house and away from your abusive father.... by allowing him to physically abuse YOU (you said he leaves brises on you) he is committing CHILD ABUSE and she is ALLOWING it... she MUST get the strength to leave him and take you with her or else SHE could end up losing you too... Child protective CAN and WOULD take you away from BOTH parents... Him for hitting you and HER for allowing it... The only safe and sure fire thing for BOTH of you to do is to leave together.... get your mom to go to a battered woman's shelter where she can get help and support , where you BOTH can be safe!!!!! and do it NOW.

Do you love your dad?? if not heres my solution: call the police!!!!!!!! He should not be hitting you, you are his CHILDREN and his WIFE so yeah. Then your dad will be gone and your mom will stop taking drugs.

don't tell him anything just leave
because i know whats its like that you don't want to tell anyone at school (teacher counseler etc.)
i get that
