I have a crush on this guy who I'm pretty sure likes me back, well until today that is. This action completely confused me! We were talking before class when this girl comes up to him and asks what he got on a test. While he's getting out his test to the time he hands it to her, she finds every excuse to touch him! First she ruffles his hair, touches his face commenting that he didn't shave that morning, touches his arms etc. He didn't touch her back, but he didn't exactly stop her either. He did look a little flushed though. Then he goes "This is my friend ____." And he turns to his friend and goes "This is-" then he pauses. I was like how could he NOT know my name? (We just met this year in class and we've talked and hung out a couple times so I know he knows my name!) Then the girl shoots me this look like she's wants to say HA! but plasters a smile on her face (touches his arm again) and starts giggling commenting on how dare he not know my name. Then he gets really red and looks at me saying "No, no! I do know your name! I just didn't know whether to introduce you as Jess or Jessica!" [at least he didn't introduce me as his friend!!] And I was like wtf? Who cares? But anyways, after that, class started and she left. What do you think about the situation? What was with him and introducing my name (that was so weird)? Do you think he still likes me and could he possibly like the other girl?

i would suggest he prefers you and got flustered by the attention --- most males would --- it does not mean he likes her otherwise he would have responded in kind by touching her back ---- ignore her (that will make it worse for her) and keep getting to know the guy better --- it will REALLY frost her cookies when you go out with him ---- best wishes

He might like the other girl and got flustered when you both were standing there. I'm sure it's intimidating for a guy to be standing there with two girls who seem to like him!!

It was an honest mistake. He probably feels bad about it and embarrassed. He most likely likes you;-)
