Christianity is not much of a religion but more of a relationship with God. Though you may have to gain knowledge from biblical scriptures and connect them to your everyday life,Christianity has a lot more to do with living your life day by day with the Lord Jesus Christ. At the most, living your life with God is a lot easier than committing yourself to something that requires you to confess your business to someone, forever doing constant practices that might not influence the word of the Living Bible,or worshiping anything or any one who isn't God.

of course not.

first of all, there is not "one" Christianity, there are/have been many, and they can differ about as widely as Wicca and Islam do.

second of all, the predominant strians of Christianity make no sense at all.

third, if it hypothetically was, it means that a god who was quite evil in the OT magically turned good and loving, but only rewards people based on who swears allegiance to one particular sect who have a history of attrrocities... not only were the "rules" arbitrarily given to one group a long time ago, but the rulekeepers have not been the kindest in disseminating those rules. If any of this "god" sounds like a psychotic, there's a good reason.

" Yes you find it in the BIBLE. The Word of God. and no place else.. "

But each sect of Christianity interprets the Bible a little differently...some a lot differently. Couldn't there be one true interpretation of it?

Christianity Is a Reality
Not a Religion
Because We Serve the Living God

For example, satanists worship “a dead man walking”. He’s the only one by name sentenced to death. He’ll be turned to ashes from within at the end of the millennium.

Agree with sword/Lord *and David.... It is NOT a man made church denomination, it is the body of Christ....whom is THE WORD.

Peace be with you :)

** :) FreeThinker...that is what the Holy Spirit was sent for...to teach and instruct us in the Word of God...Christ felt it important we have the Holy Spirit, and, since He does, wouldn't it be wrong not to accept all He has to offer?
