please take the time to read this article and tell me what you think of it. http://net-burst.net/hot/science.htm I specifically like the last part. Hell is God reluctantly granting non-believers wish.

I read the article and it just presented me with more questions than real answers. I do believe in God and an after-life. But in the Bible, Lazarus and the rich man died...Lazarus went to Abraham's bosom and the rich man woke up in hell.

That seems simple until you read all the near death experiences that don't match up with the Bible's accounts of the journey we take after death.

So I still have questions...because the scientific documentation and the Bible accounts don't seem to support each other very well, do they?....Blessings!

"Hell is God reluctantly granting non-believers wish."

After reading that last part of your post I don't have to click on the link. I have an Idea of what will be inside. Probably just old fundie arguments and stupid cliche quotes like that one. In the words of Kathy Griffin......You know what she said.

It would be good if you even attempted to read a science-based book, instead of searching out yet more ways that your god is able to creep around the boundaries of science looking for a loophole and a way in.

The 'God of the Gaps' as he is known to rational-thinking people.

It's a very nonsensical rationalization of certain rather nonsensical Christian beliefs. For example, the thing about Jesus healing a withered hand "instantly." A scientist would not talk about cell regeneration and all that. He would simply recognize the incident as fictional.

in all honesty, (I'm not trying to be insulting here) it makes no sense whatsoever, nor am I surprised.

It's the same old tune, but not even sung as well as some of the salespeople have tried before. It only makes sense (well, almost) if one buys into the notion that it's either Christianity or no other way at all.

Don't like science? Fine. Go live in a cave and become a forager. Science gives you your health care, food, transportation, computer, etc., etc.

Did Bin Laden ghost write that article by the way? Sounds like him.

The article is hogwash and propaganda of a fairly low caliber. Heaven and hell are wishful thinking, as is god.

Weak article, if your intent was to sway the opinion of non-believers.

No, Hell is YOUR wish-fulfillment fantasy. Your sick desire to punish those who dare to think differently than you.
