Just a general question to anyone in the UK who is awake and who is getting paid today Sept 28th....my husband just checked his account online, it is nearly 1.30am friday morning Sept 28th, his wages would normally show up just after midnight, but it has not. Is anyone else having this trouble tonight? Are there sometimes varying times before it shows up??? Thank you

You should always allow 3 working days to clear. outgoing banking (from your account) is always done before incoming banking (into your account) its just one of those things that banks do to make more money. So if you've got DD's on the 1st of the month you can expect them to go through before your money goes through, that way they make charges on your over drawn account even if it all happened on the same day.

It's highly likely in your case the money will be in the account tomorrow but wait till close of business before checking

hope that helps a bit.
