theres several things that could do it. Have you changed the jewlery lately ? maybe you are allergic to new earrings. Did you damage them on accident? catch it with a hairbrush? sleep on it weird? if its only a couple months old, it is still healing on the inside. also beware of using haircare products near it, you may accidentally get gel or hairspray in it while getting ready. keep it clean, make sure you have surgical stainless steel jewlery, keep it clean, maybe removing the jewlery for a cpl of days, let it breathe, and keep an antibiotic on it if it looks infected. are you still using your aftercare ? try H2Ocean. a saline soak a couple times a day will help draw out impurities.

Stop twisting it, thats just irritating it. Buy some good quality jewelery (titanium, niobium, or at the very least, stainless or surgical steel) and clean it with warm water & sea salt twice a day.

well i dont think its serious...but if its red it could probably be an infection. i heard that if u wear gold earings it is less likely to get infected.this happens to me all the time. i had mine pierced for 8 years now without ever getting re-pierced and mine still does it.if u wear cheap earings or if u dont clean them everyday this could cause it. try soaking your earings in alchohol or peroxide overnight and that seems to clean them. do you take them out at night? you should...good luck=)

Take the earring out, put peroxide on it several times a day. Leave the earring out overnight and hopefully it will be alright
then. Don't leave the earring out too long or it can grow back
together enough that it can hurt when you reinsert the earring.
