Sangria is made with a traditional vino tinto(red wine) in Spain, where the drink originated. It was like the first citrus wine cooler, why spoil tradition? Seriously, red wine and even white wine will not go with pineapple because of their tannins. If you decide to do it, send me a snapshot of your face after your first sip.

you can add whatever fruit you want to sangria. Though pineapple might be best with a white sangria.

I've never heard of it, but it probably wouldn't hurt. It's usually made with citrus fruit, but I've seen it with peaches too (white sangria). Can't hurt to try.

I don't see why not, if you add other fruits, why not pineapple? Heck, I'd probably even add some fresh grapes, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, too. Make it SUPER fruity, ya know?
Man that sounds good!
