Way down deep
in dark forests swell
there hung a
banshees chilling wail
that all the townsmen
knew too well
her test erotica
they failed
~
For the wives of
so called faithful men
called to Banshees
upper hand
to weed the weakened
once again
thus purifying
secrete land
~
All homes were visited,
non untouched
by banshee dolled
up for amour
as a gentle tap tapping
was heard out front
There was someone
at the door
~
Thing is you see,
wives play unfair
for the banshee
formed to all tastes
and the men whom had
cheated, unaware
that the minx at the door
was their fate
~
The ones who let enter
this stranger of bliss
to steal behind doors
the deadliest kiss
were doomed for eternity,
impotence
with never a hope
of recompense
~
Way down deep
in dark forests swell
there shrieks
the banshees chilling wail
the townsmen wish
to hear no more
(Tap tap)
someone's at the door...

LOL Twilight, although I've never watched the show, I kept hearing that child whisper "Somone's at the door" and I kept promising my self that I would write from those words *^_^*
I'll have to start watching for American Gothic but, truly, I don't watch much tv although it's always on LOL
All the Very Best, Shad @)~>~`

Tap Tap.............I like it little Lady...............:)
Would you let them in? To lust with evil is a weakness which applies to any moving soul. To join in fate is not my way. Turn about and kneel and pray. For us we weep. The single ones.
Driven by hunger to knock again.
You are far to cute little Lady............

Brilliant poem. And this is coming from someone who is not too fond of rhymes, to be honest. But this poem was different... It wasn't at all like Dr. Sues, none of the rhymes were forced, the flow was brilliant, the story was there... Everything. I loved it.
Though I must be honest, every time I hear, 'someones at the door', my mind goes straight to a T.V. show called American Gothic. I think that's one of the reasons I like this so much; because I love that show.
Lol. Luck in life.

That was totally awesome. I may have to make a scrapbook of your poetry and a couple of others. I think the undertaking would be an absolutely fitting tribute to your work.
