A true American Patriot doesn't really have to do anything to show it. But, you might be a Patriot if: You stand during the National Anthem, You get choked up when you visit a war memorial, You actually visit a war memorial, You think long and hard about the candidates you vote for and try to make sure you vote for the ones that will do the best for your country.
If you are an American Patriot, it will show.

Vote for a Democrat in 2008 for every office.
He maybe a crook, but he can't be as big a one as the other guys have been.
Any idea he has has to be better than the Republicans' ideas over the last 50 years.
And he can help remove the roadblock between our nation's citizens and a decent, American constitutional and ethical future--by removing the roadblock that stands between us and real reform: extremist Republicans.
They lied; they half-tried; and all their promises died.
They had no vision and tried fake religion.
They slandered and cheated--and they were defeated.
So please, do something patriotic--vote for your own life and that of every other honest citizen--vote Democratic this time.
I'm an independent, but enough is enough. The other guys have been known to change their mind, to have a mind and use it-- and to listen.
At least those three things. Isn't that enough for now? You decide.

American Patriot does what is most important for his country which does not necessarily mean the government. Sometimes conforting the government may be the most Patriot act there is.

Send a package to a deployed troop, volunteer to give blood, write a letter or call your elected official reminding him to demand VICTORY and not give in to cowardly anti war nuts in office {or running for office}, fly your flag at home, and VOTE !
