i am so happy that he is out but black people don't get off just by playing the race card cause if they did wouldn't no one black be in jail and it's not fair that he got charged the way he did but yes he did do a little wrong but all he should of gotten was a disorderly conduct ticket and he was charged like that because they probably felt like that wouldn't no one care about the black kids whites always think less of blacks what about the racist comments that the prosecutor said i don't see no one saying anything about that if you going to talk speak the facts and not what comes out your a**

true but since he has been arrested 4 previous times for assault its just a matter of time before he gets arrested again and this time itll be as an adult so he wont get off.

i do have a question that i hope you can answer about this case its been reported that the victim was sucker punched and knocked out.how many unconscious people have you ever seen fight?bell stood on the unconscious victims head while the other 5 kicked and stomped him.

BELL IS A VIOLENT REPEAT OFFENDER NOT A VICTIM!!!

bell is getting off because he was only 16 but evil has no minimum age requirements i dont know why we cant try truly evil violent kids differently than we do.

he went to the event you are talking about just to pick up his class ring then left.wasnt there very long because 1 he couldnt see out of 1 eye and he was in serious pain.did you not see his picture? yes this was a felony!!

the themes in Jena are a lot extra complicated than in basic terms a single schoolyard incident. White youngsters have beat up on blacks and gotten in basic terms probation. for somebody to be tried for tried homicide of a sufferer who grow to be so injured he went to his promenade an identical evening is ridiculous! the concepts-set that allowed the "tree" to be the indoors maximum safeguard of white scholars says a lot. when you consider that we don't be attentive to what the circumstances of the thrashing somewhat have been, what issues have been suggested earlier it, etc., we certainly can not blame this on something extra advantageous than teenage testosterone stages and racial stress supported with the aid of the small society in contact.

I will be waiting to hear your joy when a white kid with a prior violent criminal history is released from jail after he and his friends beat the **** out of a black kid for no reason. (Yes, no reason....research will show Justin Barker was not involved in any of the exagerated and twisted events that supposedly "provoked" the Jena 6.)

That, of course, won't happen. We both know it won't. No need to admit your hypocrisy, it speaks for itself.

Really? I'm wrong? You haven't taken two freakin seconds to look into have you? Jumping on the conspiracy theory bandwagon without even so much the motivation to know what the hell you are talking about. I have several links regarding all three EXAGERATED incidents....even those who are lying about and exagerating about the incidents don't claim Justin was involved. I will provide these links to you as soon as you have the courage to admit you have not looked for this information for yourself and have not one document that suggest Justin was involved. Don't claim my research is wrong when the likely only things you know come from biased, bigoted sources with an agenda - and, again, even your bigoted sources will not say Justin was involved. They just COWARDLY omit the fact that he wasn't. Mine come from the D.A., witnesses BOTH BLACK AND WHITE, newspaper archives from BEFORE everyone put their Al Sharpton twists on reality, and court records. What are your sources?

I'll say it again - white racism is not nearly as prevalent as many would like to believe. If it were, people would not need to continue LYING, EXAGERATING, and fabricating stories about it, as the truth would suffice. And your too lazy to even look up the FALSE stories to see even the liars will not say Justin Barker was involved in ANY of it!! How can anyone respect someone like that? And you wonder why some people develop racist tendancies?

Only pathetic racists would suggest this was just a school fight. I hope your children are not BLINDSIDED AND JUMPED from behind by AT LEAST six COWARDS that would have CONTINUED to beat an UNCONSCIOUS kid if someone else had not intervened. That IS NOT "just a school fight." And no one would think so if it were them or their kids - ESPECCIALLY if you or your kids are black and the cowards were white. Don't even pretend you would.

I just heard it and I am thrilled.

I am apalled that some of the people on here and other places are not reading the entire story from beginning to end. Nobody wants them to get off, we want equal and fair punishment for all involved from the time all of this nonsense started.

Definite racism. I still don't understand:
1. The conviction was thrown out. He stayed in jail?
2. $45 K bond? That's STILL discrimination! It was referred to juvenile court, and it should have been a school issue.
3. Still have not heard what the dude said to get beat up. He must have incited Bell.

I'm white, grew up in Detroit. Racism is alive and well in the USA.

If anyone needs him, just look for some white guys. He'll be nearby waiting for another opportunity to blindside some white guy walking alone with his girl. Some guy who never did one thing to him. We'll hear more from him. Slime like Mychal will continue to surface time and time again.
