cardio - you have to have really low body fat percentage to have six pack visible.
do crunches, leg lifts, side bends etc (there are so many ab workouts) 3 times a week (every other day), 15-25 reps, 2-4sets (muscle grows in between workouts while you rest)
do ab workouts before cardio.
drink lots of water

strict diet and lots of cardio. for people who compete they say 80% is diet.
