He does not want her to have a boyfriend and she is still in school but is only allowed to go to school and work and is not allowed to see her boyfriend. I have a trip planned for her to come and see me I told her that her boyfriend can come too, the only problem is that she is afraid her dad will find out that he came with her. I also told her that if she is under so much stress with her dad that she can move here with me and I would make sure that she finished school or at least got her GED. Her dad never worried when she was 12 and 13 that she was home alone while he was at work but now that she is 18 he wants to lay down the law. She is concerned that her dad will be mad if she was to move out and she does not want to leave her boyfriend who is 19 and lives with his parents, but he does not want to move here. What would you do?

Tell your dauther that you are not doing miracles You offer her to come back with you but she choose the boyfriend As a parent myself I will keep the offer open and wait

She is legally an adult, it is too late for him to lay down the law.
