Do vets even perform this kind of surgery?? I would say no... I know they de bark some dogs because of noise violations, but I don't think they remove salivary glands... You got a dog that drools alot, you should have done research before had... if you don't like the slobber you should have chosen a different breed

There's not a vet in the world that would do that for you- mammals NEED saliva. Without it, they cannot eat, they would choke constantly of dry throat, they could not digest properly, and they would eventually die of complications. What horrible person would even consider doing that? Mastiffs drool, if you had done your research you would have known that before you got the dog. Why do people always want to take the way that's best for them and worst for the animal? Dog barks? Cut it's vocal cords. Cat scratches? Chop the toes off. Animals are meant to WHOLE- if you can't deal with it, don't get one!!!

good heavens, this has been occurring on account that he replaced into 8 weeks, and he's now 8 months? needless to say you may discover out what's occurring along with his tummy. you may desire to come again to fundamentals with this puppy. This sounds similar to my chum's Whippet who stored doing this and it grew to become out he had colitis. It replaced into treatable, however the smallest factor could set him off lower back. in case your vet isn't attending to the backside of this (and that i know to my fee what that's prefer to bypass this 'attempt this/attempt that' course, and spend huge sums of money interior the approach, to declare no longer something of the unhappiness and emotional toll), i could propose you may desire to get a 2d opinion. whilst he is going unfastened, do you withhold nutrition for an afternoon? i know that's confusing with a youthful puppy, yet he's now 8 months and it is going to be available to rapid him, to permit his digestive equipment to have a relax. in case you preserve piling the nutrition into him (i anticipate he remains hungry whilst this occurs?) it merely facilitates his equipment to maintain producing stools which isn't what's needed. He does would desire to maintain eating in spite of the shown fact that. i could additionally propose he desires probiotics - and a astonishing source of this, for minor tummy upsets, is organic yoghurt. basically a teaspoon the two straight away, if he will take it, or into nutrition. Boiled poultry breast, white fish, and slightly boiled rice could be his start up back nutrition after fasting. Even tinned Chappie it is unquestionably digested, and coffee priced!! And slightly kaolin jumbled in will help bind him, in spite of the shown fact that frankly i wouldn't try this formerly a vet has appeared lower back at what's occurring with him. desire this enables, yet I had a canine who at an extremely youthful age, had an extremely undesirable enteritis trojan horse, and his tum could bypass off unquestionably throughout the time of his existence.

FREEEE - i can do it for you for free... the only catch is i will need to remove a little bit more than the gland itself. i will need to remove the entire puppy. the gland & puppy will need to be kept under strict quarantine and saliva observation at my home for many many years :-)

If it is just for kicks...vets won't do it. If it is because of a salivary abnormality or tumor, the cost varies GREATLY!!!

Why would you want to do that? Drooling is part of the package with a Mastiff :)

They wouldn't have it done. It would kill the dog since food wouldn't be digested properly in the mouth and he wouldn't be able to swallow.
