First of all I think men and women are equal and not superior to one another in any way. Secondly I have no religion but I am not a atheist. Personlly speaking I feel that men and women have a path to take in life. Whatever that path is up to you.

In my religion (Wicca), women are considered the equal of and complementary to men. Women are priestesses just as men are priests. In many forms of Wicca, the coven (worship group) is led by a High Priestess rather than a High Priest.

Our only "commandment" is: "If it harm none, do what you will." Women and men are both held to that standard by their own choice.

My religion focuses on male/female polarity (talking about the DIFFERENCES between men and women- it has nothing to do with who is above the other). It's always about the balance. Of course, some of the noob people of my religion have sort of twisted it into a matriarchal type thing, but that really pisses the rest of us off.

In my faith, women are as revered as men. Both are treated as equals, as balance is always to be honored. As a woman, I think women are strong Goddess Daughters, capable of anything. As for what women must/mustn't do, that's limited only to their physical capablities or mental capablities.

Most religions seem to have placing restrictions on women somewhere on their agendas. The only way women can escape these kinds of arbitrary restrictions is to repulse all religions from the outset.

Ummm whatever we want. Women are generally revered and heavily respected. We are givers of life and protectors of hearth. We must do what ever we want lol. We're just as hard headed, willful, and blunt as our male counterparts. *shrug* There is no rules on how to act as a woman. We're Heathen and we are expected to know it. That's about it.

edit: Grim I just fell madly in love with you. :P

Women "have to" do the same things men do in my religion. They have no specific requirements according to gender.

In my religion, women are not defined by their sex or placed in any specific role. They are no different from the men. They can achieve whatever they want.
