During the night as I was sleeping, I heard a voice so clear to my ear. It was the sound of a young girl and she whipsered "wake up". It was very clear and very distinct, that I woke up startled and alarmed. Could it just be my imagination or does this mean something more. There isn't a young girl that lives in my house, and I was alone in silence when I woke up.
Nothing like this ever happened to me and I used to think people were crazy when they would say things like this. I have been thinking about it all day.

I read only today that some people attribute things of this nature to visits from their guardian angels. What you would attribute this to depends on your personal beliefs.

It is the voice from within you. It means to tell you to wake up from the illusions of life. Something you are ignoring, that you know to be true but don't want to face. The girl wishes you to wake up from the illusions of the mind, and recognise the real you that lives within your body. It is a call to seek the self.

If there was no reason for her to wake you--like a fire or anything, I would say that it was your sub-conscious mind duplicating a voice you heard earlier that you were unaware of even hearing. The voice may not even have been one you heard today. Could have been a few weeks ago.

Most likely a dream. We dream in our lightest sleep times. Meaning you are almost awake when you dream. These things happen to me a lot.
