There is actually a lot of help for single mothers to go to college for college expenses. However, it is all dependent on your income and child support payments though. You could qualify for child care assistance, food stamps, TANF (money payments), health care (Medicaid), housing, reduced utilities, and WIC (if your child is under 5 years old).
