Without being malnourished it is hard to be without enough Vitamin A to go blind. Vitamin A does keep your night time vision healthy at normal levels. I do not think you iwll see badly by not taking a suppliment. Most of us in the US get enough with our regular eating habits.

If you do not get enough vitamin A in your diet, you will have a lot of problems including slow growth, poor bone growth, skin problems, hair problems, fatigue, reduced resistence to infection and reduced night vision. Too much vitamin A can cause similar problems.

Almost no one in North America suffers from a lack of vitamin A, it is a problem in the developing world where people do not get enough food.

No, you are pleasant. All I take is Flintstone Chewables (in keeping with my OB). Sometimes (with my moderate lack of mind cells as a result of being pregnant) :-) I'll disregard to take them. Babies got here out healthful again within the day earlier than prenatals even existed.
