Why do people who cant cook, insist on trying to cook for others.

maybe its because they want approval...maybe even though they can't cook they just want someone to say "oh wow this is great you can cook".... ... i can cook well but i dont really like cooking for other people because im afraid its not gonna be as good as i intended..so really i dont understand this "problem"... but be honest with people and if they cant cook well you should tell them nicely..just offer to do the cooking yourself next time

i dont, and wont, i just dont know maybe to make you have funny memorys of when they tryed to cook, as it can be fun to think about the times they did that.
think about it, those are the memorys most people have of times like that, like when "old aunt edna tryed to cook that turkey....blaww...blaww ...blaw..." funny NO?
