Call your dentist and let them know. Sensitivity to cold is not a big warning, but you still should ask your DDS and find out. If you were having sensitivity to hot and cold or tooth pain, but not knowing what this is, or if it is some sort of appliance it is really hard to guess. It sounds like some sort of appliance, but that is a guess at best, space maintainers don't usually have hooks on them for rubberbands. Call your DDS.

no that not a problem it's because your teeth are sensitve it'll go away in a few days or so. i have spacers n they hurt when i bite down or eat how long does they hurt for? and also i might get ny braces next tues. n im scared they'll hurt. do you have braces yet? but ne ways how long do you have to leave them on? if it more than 2 weeks n still sensitive to cold ill contact my ortho quick cuz i had to get a root canal when i was sensitve to hot & cold.
