Flea collars are worthless. You need to get Frontline from the vet. Don't order online because there are bootleg Frontline products that amount to basically water (as do Hartz and other store brands). Fog your house with Raid Flea Bomb. Do not give your cats garlic in any form. Garlic contains a component that kills red blood cells in cats causing anemia which is potentially fatal. http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=0&articleid=1350

Store-bought products don't work I'm afraid. Flea collars do not work, unless a flea happens to actually walk on the collar, and they're not that stupid!!

Don't bother with anything from a store. These things don't work and are often dangerous. Get the collar off your cat, it's not helping the flea situation and collars aren't particularly safe on a cat.

Get flea treatment from a vets - either Frontline, Revolution or Advantage for your pets, and either Indorex, Acclaim, Staykil or Skoosh or whatever they have there for your house. These are all sprays.

I don't know what the hell 'vacuum lightly' means either - sounds like more proof of what a load of sh1t pet shop flea products are.

Flea collars won't work, especially if your cat already has fleas. Try getting Advantage or Frontline for your cat. You use it once a month on your cat.

you say to vacume lightly,i always put the hoover on as though i was hoovering up,how can you vacume lightly unless you turn the suction down
