Hey! All of you who are Christians, could you pray for me plz? I haven't been spending much time with God l8ly, and I feel really bad, and I want to like, start doing devos every day and stuff, but I'm kinda busy with school & social life etc( I'm a teen girl), so I could use some prayer. Thank you so much!

PS, I know it's easy to do devos at night for 30 mins, but I just haven't done it. That's why I am asking for prayer so that God can help me to actually sit down and spend time with Him. Anyhow, thanx again!

Guess what? When you get to be an adult....you have even less time for devotions it seems like. A lot of us have that problem and the devil LIKES it that way! He wants to keep us SO BUSY even doing GOOD things that we do not have time to talk to God and read His Word. Even Pastors have that problem believe it or not!
The best way to do it is to set aside time for God FIRST THING in the morning so that you can remember that all day.
That Bible says to "seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness"....and all the rest that we need will be given to us. (Matt. 6:33) Maybe get up 15 minutes earlier.
Once you have done this awhile you will have a habit...the best one you could ever have!
I'll pray for you that you will have time for God every day and that He will keep you close to Him.

I will pray for you. Just try starting for a few minutes. Once you sit down the time will fly. Don't pressure yourself to go a certain amount of time, then you will feel guilty for not doing it. God Bless You too.

Of course I will pray for you.

Dear Heavenly Father, Please Lord if you could help this young woman to prioritize her time with You Lord, that would be great. Thank You Father for all You have done and all You will do.
In Jesus Name Amen.

Maybe you need to let go of some of the "socializing" time to devote to God. Find a good Bible study to go to, that way you get "socializing" and Bible study all in one.

Even if you start out with a chapter a night, that will be better than not doing it at all. I would tell you to wake up earlier in the morning to spend time with God, but I do all of my studying at night.

Tis better to meditate on one verse than to just "read". QUALITY, not quantity.

I'll pray. I suggest setting the alarm about a half hour early in the morning and doing some Bible reading and prayer first thing. Your day will go better.

Sure, I'll pray for you.
It IS hard to get in the habit of daily devotions. Keep a small new testament or bible with you. When you have a quiet moment you can always pull it out and check in to see what the Lord has to say to you!

I'd be happy to pray for you, sweet girl. If you don't have 30 minutes to devote, try for 15 or even 10. God will understand!

God bless!

It is easy to devote 30 minutes a night before bed to praying and fellowshipping with God. However, I will do as you ask.
