In his dream, there were 2 girl ghost/spirits in the backyard by the door. He went and opened the sliding door but stayed in the house. He felt angry/scared. He yelled "What do you guys want?" The girls asked "Where is Angel?" My husband was shocked and scared and mad. He didnt respond. And he woke up.

FYI: I had an ectopic pregnancy in May 2007 which resulted in the removal of my baby at 5 weeks. We named our baby Angel. We are currently trying to get pregnant again.
Who are the girls? And why are they asking "where is Angel?"
Thanks to anyone who can give us an answer.

First of all, I am very sorry for your loss.

The dream could simply be the way his mind has been dwelling on the situation. He could be very well asking himself, "Where is Angel?", at least, subconsciously. Such a loss is hard on Dad, too.

A pregnancy brings up plans, hopes and dreams. Not only are Mom and Dad expecting, but so are grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc. Then, when there is a loss, such as what you went through or a miscarriage (we went through a few of those), the expectation comes to ruin. Perhaps he feels strongly about the unfairness of it all. It could also be the recurring thoughts of all the questions of, "So how is your wife...?", and he has to give an answer he'd rather not give. The girls may represent the others he feels he has to give answer to.

May God bless you with a beautiful child.

Because he is worried that you will have complications with this pregnancy the memory of your previous one is in his mind. His subconscious mind is going though this and creating what-if scenarios out of the junk that his conscious mind leaves behind.

I am sorry for your loss in May. It is aways hard to have your plans and hopes dashed in a way like that. Try to take some comfort in that at 5 weeks the embryo would have had no brain function at all and was just a small piece of forming flesh. I understand that this can be a very hard thing to let go of emotionally.

Good luck with the new effort and I hope that things go better this time. Talk with your husband about his and your hopes and fears, you are there to care and support each other. Consider talking to your doctor too if you need more information. Talking about them will help put them into a realistic perspective.

Perhaps Angel is on his mind because the two of you are trying to conceive another child.
Perhaps the figures were girls because the child you had was a girl.
Perhaps you will have another girl--or twin girls.
I did, however, have a similar dream about my brother when he was killed in a car accident.
He was standing in my doorway (similar to yours--maybe they can't come into the room you are in) and wouldn't say anything. I became agitated and asked: "what do you want?" and I woke up. I never got the answer.

sometimes the mind can have many levels of trauma and in the sub conscience mind dream about it. angel was someone he loved and now that's not possible the girls pretty much asked what he subconciously asks where is Angel? if you don't have a faith to believe in that could explain the question.

Do you believe in Freud's dream analysis? Because most people don't. Dreams don't mean anything. Don't bother wasting your time trying to assign a reason to everything. Weird stuff happens, especially at night. My husband has gotten the boogie-man out from the closets many times at night.

Dreams don't have any inherent meaning... despite what the Bible says.
