-Public transportation instead of a car!
-Since everything is so grouped together, you don't have to drive 5 miles to get to a supermarket or post office, etc. Everything commercial from supermarkets to notary public are available in a city block.
-LOTS of different ethnic foods in close range (MMMM!)
-Variety of things to do: movies, parks, movies in parks, times square, theres so many others i cant even remember. You'll never be bored.
-Ferries!
-AWESOME nightlife.
-Bronx Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Yankee Stadium, Shea Stadium, Riverbank State Park, Cloisters, a lot of attractions.
-The whole community doesn't know all your business (as is the case is a small town). People keep to themselves.
-Did I mention LOTS of food options? :-p
