With my spare money (im a college student so its not much) ive been buying small things from EWTN. Mostly books to help me with my RCIA classes. I ordered a Rosary braclett a week or so ago and it comes with a Saint Prayer Card- randomly. So while it was being shipped I got sick. Really sick, to the point a friend helped me out of mass because I couldnt breathe. My order came in, the braclett is beautiful, and my sait card is of St. Bernadette- she is saint over sickness and sick people. How cool is that? of all the possible saint cards for me to go while that sick, i get her.

Anyone have something like this happen?

Two weeks ago I was packing things to take to the garage when I realized I was running short of boxes. Under my breath, I muttered, "Jesus, I could use another box."

Not an hour later, I received a surprise visit from the minister at the local Methodist Church. They utilize the Angel Food Ministries, and some kind soul had purchased an order of groceries for my family. Her first words to me were, "Hi, Amy. I've got some boxes of groceries down in the car for you. Are your boys around to carry?"

I had muttered under my breath that I needed an empty box. I received several filled with food. Strange things of this nature happen to me frequently.

I'm not catholic, so not so sure about the whole saint thing, but miracles happen everyday, they just don't make the headlines. I've had some pretty odd things happen during my life, things that shouldn't have happened when they did, but luckily for me they did at just the right time.

That is a beautiful story. I am very happy you are in RCIA preparing to become a Catholic. I became one 5 years ago, and I love every minute of my new life in Christ. God bless you.

No, its not God's work. satan can also heal. I was a catholic, I left the military to become a catholic monk. I was at a monstery and was praying to see if that was what God wanted me to do, as I climbed a mountain to pray I experienced God's presence on that mountain and He directed me life, and I left that mountain speaking in tongues. And soon left the catholic church.

God's with you, not the Church... I really don't know how to say this but, i'll jsut blurt it out. The Roman Catholic Church is the Whore of Revelation. She sits atop a 7 headed beast, it says each head means a hill (or as many now render it mountian), Rome is the city of the seven hills, and the Catholic Church sits on it, the popes titleVicarius Fili Dei (SP?) adds up to 666 meaning the beast shall be a pope. Convert to a true christian and love Jesus the same way you do now but truer, you pray using statues but all forms of idolatry are banned. "We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."

The Father has a Comforter called the Holy Spirit. In the bible (His word and testimony) He tells us to pray in the name of the Son and the Son only. There are no saints, angels, or prophets who can answer your prayers. It was not they whom gave there lives to save you and yours.
