Now I'm not saying "Every" Christian is like this, but I can say every Christian I've met are so condemning and full of anger towards everyone who doesn't fit their beliefs 100%, or towards, the poor, gay, mentally ill, etc. anything different than them. I've met so many nice athiests with morals, where every christian I've met acted all good in the church but then it's like **** everybody and treat ppl like crap when they leave the church? They've just been so quick to judge and talk stuff to everyone, where the athiests have been so much more accepting and seem to act with far more love.

First of all, there are a variety of Christians. Some are ritualistic and see things in black and white. Others are very active to serve people and influence the community. Others are liberal and want to justify their actions by stretching what the Bible plainly says until it allows their behavior. There are also combinations of the above.

You imply that you have had your fill of the fake. Unfortunately, you may have to brush past the fake to find the true. Ironically, on your way to look at the mirror of your soul, you may find a fake and hateful things in YOUR life, that God wants you to tend to before you can move on.

Remember how the believers were in Jesus' day?

He had these levels of believers:

5000- those who believed when Jesus fed them and wanted to make Him an earthly king, but were offended when He said eat my flesh

70- endued with power to perform miracles

12 disciples

3 who saw the special momenets (Peter, James & John)

1 -John whom Jesus loved.

Jesus said that narrow is the path and broad the way to destruction.

People are selfish, but some blame also falls on the shepherds for not training and discipling the sheep, Old Testament prophecies speak of the shepherds failure.

I really couldn't say why for certain.

Part of me thinks it's just the programming some of them receive.

People are such sheep sometimes...assimilate or be shunned. It's how we're all programmed, really, this behaviour isn't limited to religion. This is society.

P.S. Haven't they found a vaccine for emo yet?

I agree with Suzi B.
I have seen some pretty sarcastic and unloving atheists here who are very unaccepting of Christians and who say we are all idiots. That doesn't seem loving or accepting to me.

There are accepting and loving people in both groups as well as hateful ones.

Do you think these questions show love and acceptance?

It's called human nature. I've run into a few of those myself. Last one? About 4 days ago. Called me a hypocrite. Or maybe a heretic. With him, I suspect it's all the same thing.

Oh well.

We are not being fake and hateful. Yes, some so-called-Christians are fake. and it's because people bug them so much that they call themself a Christian because they want people to believe that they are and so they'll leave them alone.
You must seriously live in Weirdo Town 'cause...not all Christians are hateful and...that's weird that you haven't met a real Christian.
Let me tell everybody that is reading this:
Real Christians are NOT hateful...we want you to be saved so that you'll be with us forever and not go to hell. We want to show you how much Jesus loves you and what you can do to get to Heaven.
People just don't get it why preachers yell. It's to get it through your tiny brain that He loves you and wants you to be with Him.

I know atheist and Christians who fall into both categories.
Both sides have their angry and hateful people; just as both sides have the nicer ones.

My experience is quite the opposite.
Every Christian I have met is kind and never cares what my beliefs are.
I guess everything is perception, huh?
