Unfortunately Your 17 year old car is not a Lincon Mark3 or something heavy. Scrap yards sell your car to china based on weight. Try Foreign auto salvages. Laws in California are strict about junk cars you can call CARS FOR KIDS donate the car for tax credit of about 200 dollars or scrap value minus towing for about $150. I bet you find a better deal. Someone needs the good parts.

check for junkyards usually they will give you 200- 500 or so but they will not provide towing

limp it to a salvage yard that lets you pull parts. They pay more for cars.

put it on EBay and sell as is,start bid at $200.00,it will sell!!!!!!
