I hate it when people don't return the shopping carts to the coral in the parking lots, they leave them to hit someones car cuz they are too lazy to put them back.

...and I just don't get the toilet seat thing...I understand lifting the seat but the whole thing about putting it down (I think) confuses me.

my biggest pet peeve is stupid people. All the things that have already been listed are done by stupid people. So it may be very generalized, but it's SO the truth!

Mine is the cart thing too, I don't care how far away the cart return is or how crappy the weather is I always return my cart!! I can't stand lazy people who do not and they're the ones that would probably try to sue the store if a runaway cart damaged their car.

As far as the toilet seat goes, I always close the lid (and have trained my hubby to do the same) I think it's gross to walk into a bathroom and see toilet water. Granted my toilet bowl is clean but who wants to see that while they're washing their hands for dinner or brushing their teeth? Plus with the lid down and a soft lid cover it's a nice place to sit to floss your teeth or clip your nails. Plus why would they even make lids if they weren't supposed to be closed? Just my personal preference anyway.

Other pet peeves: people who complain about everything, people who don't clean up after their dogs, people who litter (including cigarette butts)

Well, if you ever fell into the toilet in the middle of the night because someone left the seat up, you'd no longer be confused. Once your tushie hits that cold water, you'll get the picture, and not in a happy way!
My peeve is the empty milk/oj/butter carton that's put back into the fridge because someone finished it and was too lazy to throw it away.

My pet peeve is people making a habit of being late, like my time is not as valuable as theirs.

About the shopping cart thing, I don't know why people can't put them back, but when my daughter lived in SC, a store there had a drawing for a TV. If you brought a cart in, you could enter the drawing. People there usually brought a buggie in. It helped them get into the habit of doing it as well.

I have many pet peeves, but here are a few:

1. Pee on the toilet seat.
2. People to break their promises.
3. Lazy people.
4. People who curse constantly.
5. People who don't respect their elders.
6. Lateness...
7. I can't stand messes and clutter...
8. People chewing with their mouths open..
Oh, and did I mention, LAZINESS??????

That's just a few of many...

When I have to stand in a line somewhere and the person behind me is really close and their shopping cart, bag or child is touching me. I hate that!

When I am eating at a restaurant and I am in a booth and a kid in another booth turns around in his seat and just stares at me and their parents don't do anything.

When a baby is crying on an airplane and the baby's parents don't do anything to calm it, like walk, feed or comfort.

People standing on my feet.
I cringe, i hate it with a passion.

People who smoke outside of store doors when i have my babies with me.

When people snub me for being a young mom of 3 girls.
People don't seem to want to talk to me or be friends because i have a 3y/o 20m/o and 15 week old and i'm 24. Seems i get looked down upon, also because my husband is 15 years older than me....
That is a big peeve of mine, being snubbed!

Oooh Oooh, when a Mexican worker in wal-mart (true story) pretended not to speak English every time i asked her where a certain medication was she'd say "que no hable english" and she'd run off.
This happened 4 times until i reported her and the manager said, of course she speaks english how do you think she got hired!

Oh and when people say "HUH" "Haaa" when you ask something and they say really loud, i find it to be rude.

1)Able-bodied pigs that borrow the car/placard of a handicapped person so they can park in the handicapped places because they are to lazy to walk
2) Pigs that pee on toilet seats and don't clean them
3) People that have to ask stupid questions like "what's in the cherry truffle?"
4) People that need to be told the same thing over and over again

People who meet old friends in grocery aisles and decide to have a chat...meanwhile their shopping carts are straddling the whole aisle!

People who spit gum out on the sidewalk, and those who toss garbage too

People who walk their dogs and don't clean up after them

Speeders and people who drive with Hollywood mufflers...I think that's what they call them

People who "double dip"

People who trespass

People who use bad language in public

People who smoke outside stores or hospitals...right where others have to enter
