No, if you have frizzy hair, then you should use the serum

other than that all you need is the heat protectant
all brands have heat protectant so that you won't damage your hair

and a little hair spray to hold it after you straighten it

it all depends on what kind of serum and spray you're talking about. I use the matrix sleek.look system and i only use one or the other. they are designed that way, if you have a product that says to use both, you dont have a good product. When i blow dry my hair, i use the serum just to help. If my hair's already dry, i just use the spray.

You don't have to use a serum or spray if you're using a rejuvinating shampoo and conditioner and shower every day. If you aren't using those shampoos and conditioners, some REALLY good ones are Bed Head (the best, but most expensive) or Pantene or Herbal Essences (less expensive and still pretty good)

When I flat iron my hair, I use three different things, I use: Anti-fizz serum (dove), Heat protectent (Bed Head), and also Stuff to make my hair shiny (Herbal Essence) I know it is a lot to put in, but It will make your hair really shiny, smooth, and protected from heat that can make your h air break easily!

just one is plenty.
if you use too much your hair will get really greesy.
hair toys has a really good hair serum, it only takes a dime size amount. you can put it on damp or dry hair and then it also moisturizes your hands.

One product is enough. You don't want to overload your hair & make it limp. You don't want to gunk up the flat iron either.
