Mix, I've been Black the entire 42 years of my life and I have never met personally another Black person that wants reperations.

AnArdi and Aisha 73, I totally agree with you. I'm just trying to destroy the root of discrimination.

CharBurker, did Martin Luther King, Jr. play both sides of the fence? Did Ghandi? Did Jesus? All men of peace, all men I admire. I'm surprised that you don't see that. What are reperations going to do to salvage the damage done to the slaves, now that the slaves are all with God? Should I just blatantly be against all, just because you or others think so? Or shouldn't I follow Jesus' message of Love?

There is no "reverse discrimination." There is only discrimination.

I hate to see it when a Black person says "I've never asked for reparations".
This was a promise and agreement that was supposed to be fulfilled to Black people but the thing is, it hasn't been done yet. I believe if you make a promise or enter into an agreement "DO IT".
Semper, sometimes I wonder about you. It's like you play both sides of the fence as a lot of weak Black men do and I for one hate this. That's why no Black men have been president because most all lack the ability to stand strong and just hold thru to what is just, what is lawful and what has already been established. You are easily swayed and beat down.
It's so sad.

God made us ALL. There Is no true race ! Just different skin colors. When I look at a person,I see the person not a race, color or ethnic background. We're ALL God's people. When Is everyone gonna see that ?

That's a damn good questions, people are so afraid of offending others, being offended, and everything in between.
If they're good for the job take 'em.
If not, then don't, why's that so difficult.
Only those with a blind eye will truly see the beauty this world possesses.

Because there's always some person, or group of people, with their engine running and just waiting for an opportunity, any opportunity, to put it in gear and pop the clutch.

Too many people cling onto the past
a lot of minority's think the deserve reparation's for something they suffered none from (possibly there ancestors did but whose ancestors didn't?) , until we are all treated equally there will always be some sort of discrimination .
Its a shame and hurts nothing but the communities and people there of.
I'm not saying all minority's want them but look down 2 or 3 slots Rufus posted about it :D
