Mormons believe that Jesus' blood was NOT enough and that their works make up for the sins that aren't covered by the blood of Jesus and Joseph Smith (who, they say, died as a martyr for what He believed).

Mormons do NOT believe in the same Jesus as the Bible and are NOT Christians. And I can (and will if you want) back all of this up, email me.

Enough for....forgiveness? Yes, He was the only one who could atone for our sins. As another stated though, the atonement has no affect on those who do not use it. It is through repentance and obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel, that we are forgiven. If Christ's atonement was just a "free for all"...what would be the purpose of this life? Why would we have challenges, why would we need the gospel?
The ONLY thing everyone receives because of Christ's sacrifice is immortality. THAT is the "free gift". Not salvation. That must be gained, like I said through obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel. But, we could also NOT gain salvation if Christ had never made that sacrifice either...
That is of course, my personal belief. Others may disagree and that is fine. That is what Mormons believe.

Yes, of course it is.

A person still has to accept his atonement though and live a good, repentent life.

6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

This question was for Mormons, odd that you first got inflammatory comments from those who aren't Mormons.

Jesus' sacrifice is enough to atone for my sins, but unless I try to be as good as I can, I'm not accepting that sacrifice. That's what we mean when we say that we have to do all that we can.

The atonement is enough...yes. So if you are referring to Jesus' death and suffering in the garden, then yes it is enough for us all to be forgiven of our sins.

yes, but we must show that we want to be with him through our efforts to keep his commandments. If we don't keep them, we don't love him enough to be able to accept his sacrifice.

Why is it blood, blood, blood all the time?

Can't we find other bodily fluids that don't leave permanent stains?

yes i do. but it does no good if we don't have a humble and repentant heart. life is not a free ride to do whatever wrong we want and then say "oh sorry" at the end.

Most Christians do not believe that.
