Hi i have recently read a short story which consists of the human issue of family conflict

Son “My mother is dead but I have another old woman in her place”
Father: “When he shouts his voice breaks high like a woman.”

After a tragic incident (mother died) conflict arose as niether charcter is able to express there 'real' feelings towards each other.

Both charcters 'son' and 'father' miss the mother terribly. They blame each other for her death. So why are the criticising each other for acting like woman!

Michael as you have stated neither has grieved the loss of this important woman in their lives. They need to be able to express what is inside each of them to one and other. There may be tears, jealousy, anger etc. expressed but hopefully both will learn from this communication. After that they can once again take responsibility for the roles that they play in each other's life.
