Way back in the late 70's there was a turntable made by BIC called the AccuTrak that you could program to pick out individual tracks on the LP. It worked by first scanning the LP with an LED and a photoelectric pickup, and storing the data.You could themn pick out what tracks you wanted to hear, and in what order. Kinda neat, at the time. It actually worked well. They turn up on ebay once in a while. I don't think there's anything like it made now.
