Anyone on here allergic to the smell of skunk?

Before I had allergy desensitation shots, I was allergic to the smell of skunk. It would burn like fire and I would break out in hives and lose my voice. I was afraid that I ever ran over a skunk with the car that my throat would swell shut. Does anyone else have allergy problems with skunk smell?

Funny, I too am wondering and came to the net looking for skunk allegy questions.
I react violenty to skunk odor. I will wake from a sound sleep and vomit if one is in the neighborhood. I also get a very intense, debilitating headache. I don't break out in hives like you and wonder if I have an allergic reaction?
I too am looking for answers.
