As far as I can tell, single people have to like hanging around the local bar . Whenever I ask myself why I don't like being single, I usually answer "Because I don't like hanging around bars" . If you don't like going to bars or drinking alcohol ... what else is left ?

I don't drink much so bars are out unless in the islands >Get involved in something you like>Get a hobby>What do you like to do>If your looking for some 1 than bars are not the place>I like my own company>Have a 48 sport fish> Diving >Have friends if they want to go bring fuel>

Being single is good at some time in a person's life. You can do whatever you want to do.
Then we eventually want to spend our life with someone, doing things with another, sharing, etc.
I do not care what anyone says...people need and want other people in their lives. It sucks to be lonely.
If you are looking for things to do as a single person, then go tot he movies....or to a book store like Barnes & Noble where you can hang out & read...or get a dog & go to the park.... things like that...
There's always speed dating or singles activities..look online in your area.

Something that you like to do. You can go shopping, go rock climbing, go on road trips with friends, read books, learn an instrument, paint, go to a nice jazz lounge or any other music lounge. Be active and meet new different ppl. Life isnt just about being with someone its about living and enjoying all the beautiful things God has put on this earth.

Well if you don't like bars and drinking, there must be other things you like, maybe coffee shops, resturants, going to sports events. I'm single too, just broke up with ex a month ago and you know what, i feel great. I get to do whatever i want, go shopping with my girlfriends and going to resturants and i get to have fun.

If going to bars and hooking up with random people is your idea of being single, umm i hope i never meet you inperson. Im single, i like doing all kinds of different things. Traveling, bowling, hanging out with anyone I want to, doing whatever i want to without hearing someone tell me im not aloud to,lol

im single & not by choice but a widow. i dont go to bars or drink alot of alcohol but still have fun and i have alot that keeps me busy. like anything else it has its pros & cons but i like my own company. theres a difference in being alone & being lonely and i have good friends and great kids.i cant complain.

The freedom of knowing you can date around and go out with your friends without 20 questions when you get home and being accused. Theres a lot but i enjoy being in a relationship.

It has it's plus points, you can do what you like, no one to argue with. You don't have to worry about being cheated on or cheating on them. Take your blinkers off and see the world.

Peace and quiet, less drama, cheaper grocery bills.
On the other hand, being single gets really lonely.
