I'm 25 and single and I'm looking for a witness brother. There aren't any at my Kingdom Hall. I'm looking for brothers in between 24-30 years old. What hall should I go to?

First keep praying to Jehovah and be specific.
Like some of the Brothers and Sisters already mentioned go to some other Circuit Assemblies.
I'm sure you have friends in other Cong. go to their Sun. meeting. But please make sure you find a spiritual Brother, solid in the faith. One who really loves Jehovah, the ministry, loves to comment at the meetings, and is really reaching out.

I'm actually really proud of you. For a young person it's hard to let go of a relationship, so i think you did extremely well. By the sounds of it he definitely was not a good influence...especially with the part about demons and ghosts. As JW's we know who is behind such things. Your so young and i'm not trying to be rude but why the strong urge to get married so young? I know i can't talk bcoz i was married at 21 but it wasn't something that i put an age limit on or went searching for...it just happened. He unfortunately died 11 months ago and the hurt is excruciating. So although marriage can have many, many wonderful blessings, it can cause heartache that we as young people are unprepared for. Also maybe try focus on progressing in the truth and set good goals for yourself. Then when a nice spiritual brother comes along and see's your fine conduct and the love you have for Jehovah, he will be more inclined to pursue you. Remember that a good spiritual brother will be looking for a good spiritual sister. Hope that i haven't been too "preachy" to you. I'm just really glad with the decision you made and i think you will progress well. Let us know of your progress. With Love.

First of all don't you think yahoo answers is kind of the wrong place to ask this question? Wow wouldn't your elders be proud. Any way, why not attend different congregations? Speak to your C.O. and his wife. Alaska has more brothers than sisters. Save your money and go visit. Join the RBC lots of brothers there. But make sure you are putting Jehovah first. The single brothers I know say they can spot a husband hunter from a mile away and steer clear of what they call desperate sisters. Form friendships and follow the scriptures where we are told to widen out in our association. I have met so many single brothers it's a shame I have chosen to remain single.

Well, I don't even know what state you are in, or country for that matter. It can at times be hard to find mates near by. I often think of nature, when an animal needs to find a mate it often migrates. There are other congregations near you, most likely. A good way to meet others is to go to Circuit Assemblies and District Assemblies other than your own.

In reference to the crude answer from Jabbering Goat about there being too few men. In one of my former congregations, there seemed to be an overabundance of single brothers, especially when compared to the number of single sisters. Clearly the ratio varies from area to area.

If you want a spiritual huasband, be a spiritual wife.
Focus on your own spiritual development, and put "the kingdom first", and trust that Jehovah knows what you need, and WHEN you need it, and you'll be satisfied with life, and make what changes you need as you need to, whether these are changes to marital status, or expectations. Searching around for a "single brother" can be frustrating and fruitless, just because of statistics, and our own expectations.
Don't forget, after the 1000 years, there are going to be alot of single people out there; what if "the one" is lying asleep in death, right now ? Do you think it would awful to realize you were married to the one you settled for, when the perfect man comes along later, and realize that the situation just got eternal??
