Lol.. my sister got a dog that only understood... Dutch!!. It was hilarious at the beginning.

You may also try "la baballe !" ("jouer à la baballe"). ("baballe" is French "balle" when you address a dog)

Both "a" are pronounced close to the "a" sounds in "cat" or "car". You should stress the last syllable, i.e. "bal". The ending "e" is not pronounced. Have fun!

as all know "ball" mean -"boule" refer to foot ball. It may mean dance too and other meanings too as arranged between
interlocutors.!Canadians are said to be masters at giving meanings to words to distract from traditional lines. So your mess might continue until you hit the exact meaning.
