This is a pretty open-ended question, as it is entirely dependent on why the tooth needs to come out. If it is a primary molar that is loose because the permanent tooth is coming in, you can often just wiggle it out. I often suggest that my patients use an ice cube to partially numb the area. If you're talking about a permanent tooth that is loose from periodontal disease, the technique is similar. However, if you are referring to a fully supported permanent tooth, abscessed or otherwise, you are on thin ice if you're even considering a self extraction without local anesthetic. Unless you are inebriated enough to just yank it out, good luck. You'd be better off seeing a dentist.

JEEZ thats going to hurt . I would get a ton of ora gel the stuff that you put on cancar sores and coat that all over your gums and cheek then grab the pliers and sart yanking. there is a chance it will come out in pieces leaving the root behind in which case you would have to go to the dentist anyway.

You could, if you wanted to deal with extreme pain and the high chance of getting a blood infection.
You are much safer and intelligent to go the dentist and have your teeth taken care of in the correct way.
The chances of you damaging another tooth, as well as having to have surgery are much higher than if you get it taken care of in the correct way.
Good luck.

Please do not do this yourself. You'd be surprised at how hard those things are to get out, and without a sterile environment you're prone to infection.
Why are you asking?
If you can't afford a dentist, see if there are colleges with dental programs in your area - they will do it for free, or at a greatly reduced cost.

Dentist offices have an after hours emergency number. Just call the main dentist office number and hear it.
