You hear stories of women who marry men and they are verbally and physically are abusive to them. And the question I have is why do woman marry a man who shows throughout the relationship he is a very angry and controlling person, why do you say,"I DO?" Samething goes for a man who cheats during the relationship, off and on..If he can't be trusted while dating.. Why do you think he will remain fatefull in marriage?

Its not honestly something I understand. I have dumped guys over any abusive or controlling behavior. The guy I married is the calmest, most patient person I know. When he's angry, it just for show (to the dog!) because she doesn't understand "Don't poo on the carpet again!"
When a woman stays with an abusive guy, its for one or more reasons. Things like she thinks he'll change, she can change him, she can't get anyone better, he's the best she'll get, other people tell her what a great guy he is(when they don't know otherwise). Stuff like that.
I had a very abusive step dad, my mom didn't leave him for a long time because he was a cop, and the unimplied threat was his gun, that he would use it if she left. Family wouldn't talk to her much because of him. So no support. Until my aunt came to live in the basement apartment. Then she felt safe enough to throw him out.
The worst violence will happen (from what I've heard) when she gets pregnant, or tries to leave.

Some women who love guys like that are usually women who father was the same way with their mother and the tend to think that the way a man should handle their women and so they end up with men like that thinking they can handle it the way their mother handle it with patient and loving care and it usually never happens.

i dont, coz thats jus stupid, id hit the guy back as well lol bt lyk older women usually think that the guys gonna change eventually.... which is lyk never so yea
